Passwords

I’m trying to use your user import plugin. The passwords when pulled from my database using myphpadmin look something like this – $P$BHRUJRlUnhXmfP3YoQ2bFWV/bKULZz. Not a real password but some form of code? Not really an issue with the plugin but…Any suggestions?
