Paste from word for mac

    When I paste from Word 2004 either directly or using the paste from word button, the text appears (with file location displayed at top) but when i save it, not only does it delete the text but also most of the rest of the page…

    Help!!

    The simple answer is to never paste rich text content into the editor (such content contains hidden format codes which are not compatible with the editor)…If you want to use a text editor prior to creating a post, use only a plain text editor and make sure it’s of the proper format and encoding.

    Can I change the text in TextEdit. If so, what format would work?
