Pasting Web Tracker Code into the header.php on Sela
-
I have a free trial with a Web Tracker software provider set up, and they’ve sent me some code to set it up with. They’ve given me a ‘how to’ guide, specific to WordPress, which reads as follows:
Appearance>Editor
Then find the header.php (on the right)Then insert the code just above the </head> tag.
This seems to be the same advice as I’m finding on online forums. However, I tried this and within the Sela theme I don’t seem to be able to get access to the code – there is no Editor tab on my Appearance menu. I can get into the Customize option on Sela, but that only allows me to add new rules to the CSS. Can I add the code within there? And if so how?
Would be great if anyone could help me with this.
