    Hey Nick,

    antispambot() is a function in WordPress core and I don’t think a plugin should have to check if a specific plugin is installed to be able to use it. If anything, the plugin that breaks if a core WordPress function is used, should be patched to handle that situation. I’m open to debating this thinking, though.

    That being said, I don’t think this will be merged into SSL, though I appreciate your willingness to submit a potential fix.

    Ok, making it check for CryptX was probably a bit narrow minded 😉

    How about allowing me to turn off anitspambot encoding via an option, filter, or constant?

    I think the filter option is a good compromise for this issue. I’ll roll that change into the next version.
