    Hi @jakwalker,

“Paga in 3 rate” is the Pay Later button PayPal provides for buyers from Italy: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/pay-later/it/
PayPal automatically loads appropriate buttons for each buyer on the website via geolocation. Every supported country has a different Pay Later button.
So when you have an Italian IP address, PayPal will most likely deliver the Paga in 3 rate button and other local alternative payment methods such as MyBank.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

Yes I understand that however my ip is in the UK and still showing Paga in 3 rate since the last update… I’ve have to turn off the pay later button because of this

    Hi @jakwalker,

I’m not seeing any particular reason why the wrong button would be loaded for you after the update. If you roll back to the previous plugin version, are you seeing the Pay Later button again?
Could you please share a copy of your WooCommerce system report with us?
You could send it in a private message from here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
Please include a link to this thread so we can keep track of your request.
    Thanks!

    Kind regards,

That’s strange I’ve just enabled the pay later button and it’s showing the correct language now. I’m guessing maybe it was an issue with PayPal rather than your plugin!

    Hi @jakwalker,

The plugin doesn’t actively decide which specific buttons are loaded. Pay Later is either enabled or not. PayPal then dynamically presents every individual visitor with payment methods they are eligible for (e.g., country-specific Pay Later options).
On a GBP website with no EUR option, it would be unusual to see the button for Italian customers because this usually requires EUR transactions.
I suggest keeping an eye on this and letting us know if it happens again for you.
At the very least, it is not the expected behavior for UK-based customers to see the Italian button.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

Yes that’s what I thought. I will definitely keep an eye on it and let you know it I see it happening again. Thank you for your help and quick response, it’s much appreciated 😊

    Thank you!
In the meantime, there has been one other report about an unexpected “Paga in 3 rate” button appearance, but it turned out to be the correct behavior for that specific case. So while I can’t explain why PayPal would have loaded the wrong button for you, we also don’t see a general problem with the button selection PayPal is loading.
If there’s anything regarding PayPal Payments that does not work as expected, don’t hesitate to let us know, as the team is happy to help.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
