    Hi there,

I was wondering if there’s any way I could translate the text on the “Pay with Stripe” button on my store’s checkout page.

I know I can change the text on it, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have it translated so it matches both languages (Primary – Slovenian) and (Secondary – English).

I’ve tried searching everywhere inside TranslatePress and LocoTranslate to see if I could find a way to make the text change depending on which version of the site the user’s on (Slovenian / English), but so far no luck.

Everything generally works fine, but I’d really like to avoid having the text be “wrong” one way or another – I can’t have the english text on my slovenian page, and vice-versa (obviously).

So I was hoping you would know and could point me in the right direction as to how to solve this issue.

    Kind regards

    Hello @nikhlede,

You should translate the text using a translation plugin, if you want to change the text using the settings of the plugin you can change it to support only one language.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey Sravan,

I tried to do that. Like I said, I’m using TranslatePress for the website, and temporarily I’ve even installed LocoTranslate – yet no matter what I do that text just won’t change.

Like I said, I can “primarily” edit it – meaning I can choose what the button says (however the choice I make seems to be made for both languages by default).

I’ve tried and searched the strings, etc. … I’ve even tried custom coding to change it based on the language chosen – but so far I’ve had no luck doing any of those things.

    Kind regards

    Hey Sravan,

Any news regarding this yet? I need to know if you can “add” this in, or if I need to start looking at other alternatives.

    Kind regards

    Hello @nikhlede,

The strings you are referring to are loading from Stripe API and they are not available for translation on our plugin.
