paying with iDeal

    Hi, I am trying to test payment with iDeal in the sandbox environment. When I checkout, iDeal is listed as one of the credit card types.

    If I select iDeal, I am asked for credit card details (instead of iDeal info) as shown here: https://snipboard.io/kDKCd0.jpg

    How can I get the correct iDeal fields?

    Not sure if it matters, but Mangopay is currently in sandbox mode and not production mode. I was hoping to test iDeal in the sandbox first if this is possible.

    Hi mchsu2000,

    Ideal requires an additional step, it’s called the generation of od SubID, it occurs during production setup.

    Are you planning on using Ideal? Do you need this to be enabled in sandbox?

    Hi Max,
    I do need iDeal, but I don’t need to enable it in sandbox. Will it work correctly in production setup? Can you confirm this? If yes, that is fine. I just need it to work in production.

    Hi,
    You will need to make a support request to activate Ideal in production.
    These is another issue around some JS updates that can interfere with the Ideal workflow, these should be solved in our latest version.
    Have you tested on the latest version?

    Do I need to make a support request here with you or with Mangopay to activate iDeal in production? I haven’t tried it live yet.
