    Hello,

    I am testing your plugin for payment when submitting a post that is PENDING APPROVAL by site admin and it completed the payment process BEFORE the approval which means if the post is NOT approved, site admin has to issue a refund. Shouldn’t the payment be completed upon post approval/publishing and NOT upon post submittal? It makes NO sense to have to issue a refund for a post that will never be published, it should be the other way around, payment should be completed upon approval/publishing, don’t you think?

    Let me brief you on the current situation of our side in regards to this scenario.

    → Point1:
    In your perspective, you are right that the user should pay later once his post is published on the platform. But the limitation is currently, WPUF doesn’t store any payment/card related info on the DB, so how would it charge later after published.

    → Point2:
    Currently, we display the consent message on the above of the form that it will be charged if he submits the form.

    So the user is acknowledged about it, and also the admin is aware of this. So the admin should not set the status as “Pending Review” as the user is paying for the post. But this is not the convenient way. I admit on the other logic that the admin can set the status as “Pending Review” mode cause h/she don’t want to publish any post without his/her review.

    I admit there are some use-case/logical controversy. I have already talked with our developers regarding this situation. Currently, we are thinking about two ways to resolve the case. Like:

    1) We may set another status level, say “Review Completed”, and the user will get an email that his Post is in status “Review Completed” now. Now he can “Pay” from his dashboard/account to publish the post on the site.
    2) We might prioritize the option like a “Pay Per Pos” form can’t be set as “Pending Review” status.

    This enhancement on the Brainstorming Level now. However, rest assured we will surely update the situation for a better user experience.

    Thank you so much for your detailed response and I appreciate your consideration.
    I STRONGLY vote for solution number one. It makes more sense rather than restricting features which is what solution number two would do.

    On a different note (and I know this would have to go on a different thread), for some reason all of the sudden, I can’t access any of the settings tabs on the settings page (I have your plugin installed on three development sites and the problem is on ALL of them). The rest of the plugin works fine and all other plugins work fine, but can’t see or change any settings. Weird, huh?
