Payment fail with paypal

    Every payment fails, no matter if I use paypal standard or paypal donations.
    IPN is activated and VERIFIED.

    After a successful payment (confirmation with bank ect) here is the error message we can see : “There was a problem authenticating your payment method. Please try again. If the problem persists, please try another payment method.”

    I also found this in the console :

    Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 422 () cors.api.paypal.com/v2/checkout/orders/1WN85027UU032302A/validate-payment-method:1

    Invalid ‘X-Frame-Options’ header encountered when loading ‘https://www.paypal.com/’: ‘*’ is not a recognized directive. The header will be ignored. http://www.paypal.com/webapps/helios/process3DS:1

    If use paypal standard, the error appends after giving credit card informations.

    It was working at first, not anymore.

    Hi @ever-e,

    The first error is returned if the credit card failed the 3DS authentication in Paypal. The donor has to use a different card or use a different payment method.

    That said, I just placed a donation on your site and I didn’t get any error on the form but I did see the error in the console.

    It does not seem to stop donations and that error is coming from Paypal.
    The problem is that Paypal sends the wrong X-Frame-Options header for some reason.

    Hi @mrdaro thanks for the reply,
    I successfully payed and complete 3D secure with 3 cards using PayPal donation then got the same error when redirecting to website.
    With PayPal standard it fail juste after completing the credit card form in PayPal.

    What should I do ?

    Hi, thank you for your help and time,
    I tried the Health Check tutorial with enabling only Give plugin and it still doesn’t work. I’m getting the same error.

    In order to fix an issue I need to be able to p replicate it but I can’t replicate it on your form.

    The error in the console is not preventing donations.

    So the error might be specific to a credit card but another thing you can try is disconnecting and reconnecting to PayPal.
