    Hi,

    For the past week, card payments via our website keep failing, the form is showing and we can input all the card details. Once you submit the payment it is instantly coming back as payment failed. These payments are not being sent to stripe, as the aren’t even showing in the events and I have contacted stripe and they cannot even see that any payments have been attempted.

    we have ssl installed, can you please advise

    Hi there!

    Are there any errors in your stripe error log? If not, please check to make sure the error log option is checked, as seen at the bottom of https://docs.woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/stripe-settings.png and then run another test.

    Let us know what appears in the error log and order notes and we can help from there. Also, having a copy of your Status Report will be helpful as well

    Hi!

    Thanks for your reply, There is nothing on the stripe error log, as the payment isn’t even being presented to them, it is failing before getting to them.

    I have had a look at the error logs and can’t see anything, I have also asked the tech team who host our website to look there and there isn’t anything showing there either. I am at a complete loss as to what could be causing it.

    This is going to be weird.

    @melindahelt I’m a fan *WAVES* but whenever anyone asks for “a temporary Administrator username and password” then this is what happens.

    I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

    I can’t really make an exception for Woocommerce, Akismet, Jetpack, any Automattic code either (and I know you get that, I’m just being complete). Those are just another set of plugins from another company here.

    Please don’t repeat that ask in these forums, if you need more explanation then please ping the moderators in the #forums channel on Slack.
