    For about 2 weeks now I deal with this intermittent error message, “Payment failed – Unexpected error result”. It will constantly pop up as I try and fail to print shipping labels. After around 10-15 minutes the shipping label will go through, which is why I describe the problem as intermittent. This error happens on almost every order I go to print.

    To be clear, the card on file is valid and has a balance on it. I even deleted the payment method and reuploaded the card info and saved it. I also called my bank to make sure there were no holds or pauses on the account, there are none. I restarted my browser, my computer, my Wi-Fi router. I have checked with my hosting provider, no issues reported.

    I have enabled status logs for woo commerce shipping and every time I receive the above mentioned error code It does not populate as a data entry. Im at my wits end, I have to print 80 shipping labels today and in the span of 3 hours I have managed to print but a measly 20.

    This is what it looks like after trying for 10 minutes to print one order. I get error codes a plenty before it actually goes through.

    From what you’ve described, it seems like there could be a couple of different things going on.

    First, even though your card is valid and has a balance, it’s possible that your bank may be flagging these transactions as suspicious due to the frequency and volume, hence causing intermittent failures.

    Second, there may be a technical glitch within the WooCommerce setting or your browser causing the error. Although you’ve restarted your browser and computer, I would recommend clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    If the issue persists, it might be helpful to disable all other plugins except WooCommerce and WooCommerce Shipping & Tax to see if there’s a conflict. You can find a detailed explanation of conducting a conflict test here.

    Additionally, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
