    Hi…

2 days ago I started receiving this error message on all checkout transitions…

Either the payment method nonce passed to verifyCard does not exist, or it was already consumed

    Any ideas welcome…
    Thanks

    Hi @wordpressforumhelp

That message would indicate that the payment method nonce being passed to the 3DS integration is invalid. The plugin code wouldn’t just randomly break since an update wasn’t released so likely something on your site has changed.

If you’re using a cache plugin I’d start there. I’ve seen in the past where the payment method nonce gets cached and then re-used, leading to this error message.

    Kind Regards

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I don not have any cache plugins installed.

I have a couple of other working sites on the same server and the settings are setup identical in WordPress Admin.

    Thanks

    Hi @wordpressforumhelp

Do you have a staging site where this behavior can be replicated? If so can you share a link to the staging site?

    Kind Regards

It seems that Braintree have yet again disabled processing payments due to an alleged card spam attack.

I have 3D secure setup and reCAPTCHA, yet this doesn’t seem to be enough…

    Thanks anyway for your time…

    Hi @wordpressforumhelp

I would highly recommend our Stripe plugin if you’re considering a switch to another processor. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woo-stripe-payment/

Stripe has proven to be the superior solution for online payments.

    I actually use Stripe myself…
