Payment Gateway

I have a question about the Stripe add-on. Since the default payment method for the Give plugin is paypal. If I were to purchase the Stripe add-on would I be able to hook up a bank account that the money would be deposited into? Or would I still have to go through paypal? I just could not find any documentation on where the money goes after the donor pays.
