Hi, Bandara98. Sorry you’ve run into this issue.
This looks like the kind of error that comes up when the initial payment for a subscription goes through, but the recurring portion doesn’t. Check with PayPal to make sure that your account there supports recurring payments. That’s the most common issue; they need to turn it on for your account.
If you are sure it’s enabled, then we would need more information to figure out what is holding up the subscription from completing. I can point to the portion of code where this error if thrown if it would help you to debug it. Or we can help in our paid support for issues like that.
Yes. There is a separate module you need to pay for and have installed by PayPal.
If, when you log into the Payflow PayPal Manager, you can go to Reports -> Recurring Billing, then the module should be active. If you don’t see that, then you need to have it installed.
PayPal support should be able to sort this out for you. Let us know how it goes.
You also need that add on of ours, which will sync the recurring orders as they are kicked off by PayPal. PayPal Standard and Express use the PayPal IPN system, but with Payflow, we use that add on to check daily for new recurring orders and synchronize them.
