Hi @nutellino and thanks for the kind words, really means a lot π
I checked your site but I don’t see those payment options you’re mentioning.
Can you tell me where exactly are you seeing them, below the form or once the PayPal popup opens?
It would mean a lot if you could share a screenshot of what you see so we can better understand it, just make sure to blur out any personal information that it might capture π
Cheers,
Predrag

Hello @nutellino
These are the Smart Payment Buttons coming with new PayPal Checkout:
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/
These are available only to visitors coming from countries that actually support them, that’s why they weren’t visible in our tests.
I basically don’t find anything wrong with that, but if you still prefer to remove them, please let us know so we ping our developers about it.
Warm regards,
Dimitris
Hi Dimitris
if it were possible to exclude those types of payment it would be fantastic, also because I can’t hide them even with css display none.
hello same problem as @nutellino. How can I do? I just want the paypal button
Hello @nutellino and @patriweb
I hope you are doing well!
I’m afraid out of the box, these payment methods can’t be excluded and can’t be hidden. These payment methods are going through PayPal, so you will still be receiving your payment with PayPal.
The Smart Payment Buttons allow to an end-user to choose which PayPal support payment method they prefer.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Nastia
Thanks for your answer Nastia but no, this not help me. Cheers

@nutellino tu conti di risolvere in altro modo? mi sembra di capire che anche tu sei italiano.
Hi,
As it’s been already said, those additional options are “enforced” by PayPal but there’s one more thing that you can check (unfortunately I don’t have a way to test it at the moment):
after logging-in into your PayPal account, go to “Account settings” and then online/website payment preferences settings. There should be an option at the very bottom of the configuration page related to express checkout, with a checkbox for “support for Giropay and bank payments” (I’m sorry but for some reason PayPal doesn’t let me switch to English at the moment so I need to ‘estimate” option names) and if it’s enabled, try disabling it.
You can always enable it back though.
Kind regards,
Adam
