    We’re using the free version of the plugin not pro, and we don’t have any updates on that plugin

    Hello,
    Thank you for reaching out.

    Please note that the free version of the plugin does support the payment system itself, but it does not include payment gateways. This means that the gateways you currently see available are only functional with the PRO version, which is why you are experiencing this error.

    If you would like to keep using the free version, you still have two options:

    • Purchase Stripe or any other payment gateway from our marketplace, or
    • Develop your own custom payment gateway that is compatible with our plugin.

    Either way, the payment system will work correctly also with the free version.

    We don’t have online payment gateway. we have only pay on arrival and offline payment user need to pick.

    Thank you for your reply.
    Just to clarify: even the “Pay on Arrival” and “Offline Payment” options are considered payment methods. These are only available in the Pro version of VikRestaurants.

    The Free version does not include any payment methods at all. For this reason, you should disable those payment options to avoid errors on the front-end.

    Instead, you can keep the automatic confirmation of reservations, which is the standard workflow supported by the Free version.

    If in the future you need to allow customers to choose between different payment methods (online or offline), then you would need to upgrade to the Pro version.
