Payment Pending

    When payments are made and the tx is confirmed on the blockchain, orders remain as “Pending Payment” and the customer’s order page stays as “Thank you for your payment. The transaction with hash 0xxxx is currently being processed on the blockchain. Your order will be completed automatically once confirmed.”

    The order never completes and remains in pending payment.

    Is this a bug in the plugin?

    If the transaction is confirmed in your wallet and you see the message, ‘Thank you for your payment. The transaction with hash 0xxxx is currently being processed on the blockchain. Your order will be completed automatically once confirmed,’ please note that it may take some time (around 5 minutes) for your order status to change from ‘Payment Pending’ to ‘Completed’. If the process takes longer, check on a different network. Please mention the name of the network where you are facing the issue.

    I waited several hours and the the order never went from Payment Pending to Completed. This was on the Ethereum Mainnet (erc20). Confirmed the eth was transferred to the new wallet and the transaction was completed on several block explorers.

    We would like to inform you that the payment pending status is verified through the blockchain using a cron job, which updates the status from ‘payment pending’ to ‘complete.’ Kindly verify that the cron job is functioning correctly on your site. You may use any cron manager plugin to check its status.

    Thank you. It turns out I had some cron job setting disabled.
