Hi there,
That sounds like an issue with how your PayPal account is confirmed. Additionally, sometimes donors choose to pay with an “eCheck” and those often have to be confirmed. Neither of those things are something that Give itself controls though. So I’d reach out to PayPal about that.
Additionally, try going to “Donations > Settings > Payment Gateways > PayPal Standard” and test setting the payment type to “Payments” instead of “Donations” and see if that affects it in any way.
Keep us posted on your progress. Thanks!

Apologies, yes, “Standard Transaction”. Let us know what you hear from PayPal and whether that changes things at all for you. Thanks!

Thanks Matt
I called paypal to see what can be done to rectify this situation. This is how it needs to be done, which I am not able to do. So, you or webmaster need to do the following:
Go to the backside of the Web site to the dashboard of paypal
Go to settings
Click on tab that says Payments
(will show that paypal is the processor) Click on option that says Payment Action
Click on dropdown
Check or change setting to Capture (we are now on authorization which will be changed by choosing setting ‘Capture’)
Capture will automatically accept payments.
but i didnt saw these option in Give Plugin
thanks

I believe they meant for you to make those updates in your PayPal account, specifically when they said “dashboard of paypal” that should be logging into paypal.com and making updates to your PayPal account — this is not something that Give can control directly.
