• Hi,
I’m in the process of setting up Paypal for Woocommerce on my WordPress site.
I have found out my Paypal button code from my Paypal account and they say to insert it into the following.

Your link code goes between the quotation marks where it says ‘YOUR-LINK-HERE’ in the code provided below:

<img src=”https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_buynow_LG.gif” alt=”Buy Now Button” />

I have tried this numerous times with my Maxbutton but every time I enter the full code in to Maxbutton and press save it removes the link so obviously it isn’t working at all.

Can you please advise me on how to use Maxbuttons and the Paypal button code as I like the look of the Maxbuttons I have created and don’t want to use the Paypal traditional buttons.

Am I simply doing things in the wrong order … so simple steps would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to you saving me any more frustration !!
B

Bas, who is away but usually handles Maxbuttons support topics might know for certain, but there is a difference between a Maxbutton and a paypal button. While the Maxbutton contains a link to another page, a paypal button is part of a form that contains some hidden fields to pass or post information to paypal to perform a transaction. And that is what I found in another support thread, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/maxbutton-url-to-use-for-paypal-button?replies=4.

Also what I see in the code your posted is a link or an ‘a’ tag that contains an image. That’s not going to work. Only the address of a page and nothing else can go into the button’s URL.

Was this solved? As Alan said in the URL field -only- put the URL (link) and not any other code to make it work.
