Please update the plugin: the Paypal buttons (Pay in 3 installments, pay by card, etc) no longer appear. I deleted Cookies, I deleted the cache, I deleted the browser cache, I changed browsers but the buttons no longer appear. Only the default theme button appears…

    Hello @rafluca

Situations like this are common in the WordPress environment due to its large variety of themes and plugins. Additionally, PayPal Smart Buttons rely on JS libraries, which are highly sensitive to caching. In many cases, caching is the main culprit behind such issues. I wanted to check your checkout page, but it’s only available for logged-in users, and account registration is activated manually.

Please note that you can downgrade the plugin as a temporary solution. Previous versions can be found here: WooCommerce PayPal Payments Previous Versions

To properly resolve this issue, I recommend performing a full conflict test to rule out compatibility problems with your theme or other plugins. Here’s how you can proceed:

    1. Activate the Default Theme. Temporarily switch to the default Storefront theme. This will help determine if your current theme is causing the issue.
    2. Disable Other Plugins. Deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Payments.
    3. Test the Checkout Process. Place a test order to see if the issue persists.
    4. Re-enable Plugins One by One. If the problem resolves during the test, re-enable your plugins one at a time and test the checkout process after each activation. This will help you identify the plugin causing the conflict.

If the issue continues even after following these steps, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you further. If the problem persists, feel free to contact us directly for a deeper investigation.

    Hi

I have the same problem. The PayPal buttons don’t appear on mobile but do on desktop. I’ve tried Chrome and Firefox (clearing the cache each time). A few days ago, I disabled caching for all product pages and this has not helped. I also disabled all speed settings that related to Javascript and CSS (in Siteground Speed Optimizer). Again, no difference.

Since this problem occurred, I have moved server hosts. The engineers there have also tried to rectify this problem (turning off WP Rocket) and turning off caching for the relevant pages. They had no success either. No new plug-ins have been added to my site recently.

Any help would be gratefully received as I’d prefer to continue using the official WooCommerce PayPal plug-in if I can.

    Regards,

    Marc
