    Hello everyone. I’m having a problem with the payment options. Three years ago, I sold something with easydigitaldownloads. To have a credit card option in addition to PayPal, I installed the additional plugin “PayPal Commerce Pro.” Now, the plugin is still active, but the credit card no longer appears. Why is this? Thanks for any suggestions, and best regards! Martin

    Thanks for reaching out!

    If you are using the PayPal gateway (which is the PayPal Commerce product from PayPal) this is all handled by PayPal. They decide during the Checkout process if they will show the Credit Card option or not to the user.

    It could depend on multiple factors that EDD is not in control like the currency, location of the customer, amounts and perhaps others.

    If you can share the URL to your website where I can add something to the cart, I can check if I see the option on my end or not.

    Thanks for your quick support!

    It’s still a pseudo product, but it will soon be replaced by a real one. I’ve now activated the sales button on this page just for you to test. The extra plugin Easy Digital Downloads – PayPal Commerce Pro version 1.0.1 from “Sandhills Development, LLC” is still activated on WordPress. But, as I said, it apparently no longer works.

    I use the built-in Paypal option from easydigitaldownloads.
    The connection status is good. Only green checkmarks.

    Then I read on Google that the extra plugin version 1.0.4 is now subject to a fee – isn’t it supposed to look exactly like the one at the following link?

    I read elsewhere that this extra plugin is no longer used for easydigitaldownloads. And from your perspective, I understand that you have to configure the credit card option yourself with PayPal? What could this ultimately be?

    At the bottom of the page click the Thumb Down image and it will open the support form. Please provide all the requested info as that would help us by having some info about your configuration.
