Sorry you ran into issues here. Can you walk me through some stuff first?
– Version of AWPCP?
– Version of WP?
– Can you reproduce the problem on your own?
– Have you tried a conflict test? Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with AWPCP, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how-to-test-for-plugintheme-conflicts/
The last one is important because it seems like a Javascript callback isn’t being fired until refresh of the site, which smells like something is causing a JS error in the page.
Try that and report back.

Latest version of AWPCP ( free one ).

Yes the addon has only just been installed , upon testing the system we get that error.
We’ve disabled the plugins and changed theme.
It still brings up the error message but once you click the error message it goes through ok
It looks like a time delay from paypal or WordPress not realising payment has gone through.
There also doesnt seem to be any script errors when looking through firebug on firefox

Submitted a contact form yesterday but no reply, there was no confirmation from your site it had been sent though ? After submitting the form it simply redirected to the homepage.
