• Hello,

    Many of the donation transactions were under “pending” and I realized the PayPal email we entered was incorrect. After changing, I wanted to see how would we go about receiving the funds for the transactions done under the wrong email address? Also, I tried testing a donation, and while PayPal did accept the donation, the screen showed the transaction as “Failed.” Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

    Unfortunately that’s a question for PayPal. There’s really nothing we can do on our end about that at all.

    Regarding the “Failed” status, most likely that is because your site is not running on HTTPS with an active SSL certificate. PayPal is now requiring an SSL for all transactions, even PayPal Standard payments. In order for Give to mark a donation as Complete, we need to get the proper response from PayPal. If that response comes back bad, or not at all the donation will be set to either “Pending” status or “Failed”.
