    The customer’s paypal receipt always had the item descriptions. Now the customer receives a receipt with the total and company paid to. there are no item details. The receipt coming to the company shows the product details so obviously the information is correctly received by paypal. Also, if you login the customer account, the item details are present. This is an example what is no longer appearing:

    Description. Unit price. Qty. Amount

    Allium schoenoprasun Item# 20023. $7.00 CAD 1 $7.00 CAD

    Handling $10.00 CAD. 1. $10.00 CAD

    Is there a setting to be changed in woocommerce?

    Which PayPal payment gateway plugin are you using? Could you please check if there is an option like “Send item details”?

    Additionally, could you share a copy of your site’s System Status Report with us? You’ll find it at the top of the page under WooCommerce > Status > Select Get System Report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file containing the SSR’s contents to share with us. Once you have the System Status Report file, you can copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here.

    With regard to the errors, WordPress was recently upgraded, but there is a new release. Also, the templates are highly customized so they are not actually out of date. I do check them to ensure they are working and they are.

    At the moment we are not using an additional paypal gateway. In the past we may have used Woocommerce Paypal Payments, but I believe it gave an error and we started using just the option under Woocommerce > Settings > Payments > Paypal Standard – Paypal.

    Hi @arconsulting,

    we started using just the option under Woocommerce > Settings > Payments > Paypal Standard – Paypal.

    PayPal standard is deprecated and removed from new installations. As mentioned in our documentation, support for PayPal Standard is very limited, and we strongly advise against using it.

    In the past we may have used Woocommerce Paypal Payments, but I believe it gave an error

    Can you tell me what the error was? Please share more details if you can.

    If you don’t remember, we suggest trying the extension again. If you encounter any problems, feel free to create a support thread in the plugin support forum here. Our team will be happy to assist you in resolving them.

    Hi there,

    When I attempt to set up the plugin Woocommerce Paypal Payments, I tried the activation button, which logins in to paypal and then says connected, but it doesn’t appear to work at checkout. When I click “toggle to manual credential input”, the Live email address, Live Merchant ID are completed, but there are two empty fields: Live Client ID, Live secret key.

    When I follow the steps to get the API credentials for NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic) on the paypal website it show an API username, API password, and API signature. I am unclear how to proceed as they don’t match and also the process seems partially completed. Any help would be appreciated.
