• Recently had a couple complaints of payments failing when users are trying to checkout with MasterCard. Visa cards process without any issues.

    Hi @onedogsolutions ,

    Can you share some more info like what error you are getting while process master card payments? Also you have logging enabled in our plugin and can share the log that shows some error about that?

    Another thing to look here, You have any specific reason to user Paypal REST? Did you tried Braintree from our plugin or PayPal Pro Payflow? Please give those a shot and I am sure things are going to work even better.

    My client has a PayPal Business account, not a Braintree account. Wanted to use this solutions without having them create another account. The log shows this error when using MasterCard credit cards: [16-02-2019 11:35:12] PayPal\Core\PayPalHttpConnection: ERROR : Got Http response code 400 when accessing https://api.paypal.com/v1/payments/payment. {“name”:”VALIDATION_ERROR”,”details”:[{“field”:”payer.funding_instruments[0].credit_card.type”,”issue”:”Credit card type must be visa, mastercard, amex, jcb, or discover.”}],”message”:”Invalid request.
