PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT error during restore

    Greetings…

    I noted an error during a WPVivid restore:

    The restored site seems to working properly, and its appearance sems to be the same as before. If I am reading the error correctly, it occurred while the uploads were being restored.

    Does this error indicate that there may be problems with the site or its PHP implementation that I should fix?

    Hi, thanks for your feedback. It seems that the Uploads folder is incomplete. Please create a backup again and restore it. If you still encounter any issues in restore process, feel free to contact us.

    Hello…

    This is a production site, so I need to be careful. I also would like to understand the problem more clearly.

    1) Can you please explain in what way the Uploads folder is ‘incomplete’?

    2) I still do not understand the meaning of the PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT error. Can you please clarify what this error means?

    2) I have a manual backup that I made just before the problem that required the restore from the WPVivid backup. Can I restore this to fix the problem with the Uploads folder?

    Hi,

    Question 1, The zip file of Uploads folder is created incompletely in backup process because of the unexpected reason.

    Question 2, Since the Uploads zip file is incomplete, the error occurs while extracting uploads zip file. Our plugin is using WordPress PclZip to perform zip compression/extraction, but it is limted by server resource.

    Question 3, Could you please provide us with a temporary admin account and login page URL via email? We check it out first and try to restore it if needed. Thanks in advance.
