PDB not filtering

Hi
I recently started using PD and love it thank you. however i have encountered a problem that I cant seem to find the answer for on your site.
Everything was working fine and then all of a sudden when I tried viewing a record it was blank.
I checked everything is fine as far as I can see

(‘[pdb_list template=edit-link fields=”id_number, first_name, last_name, edit_link” filter=”user_login=’ . $current_user->user_login . ‘”]’);

this use to work but all of a sudden it is not working. however when i remove the filter it works. but then display all the records.

please assist urgently as this is a very important part of my site
