PDB Use Case
-
Hi and thanks for all the work you’ve put into PDB. Here is a use case I am exploring. Trying to relate it to PDB and understand if I can use PDB (and/or other apps along with it).
1) Users visit my site and “sign-up” (creating their own username & PW)
2) Users have a site “user profile” page.
3) User profile page allows User to create a new List(s) with as many items on each list as they want.
4) The User created lists can then be shared/viewed publicly on the website. For example:
A “kitchen gear” website, with lists of kitchen gear that various people own/use for various cooking tasks.
Signed-up users can create new “cooking equipment list(s)” with list name determined by the user e.g. “my souffle cooking equipment list” “my grilling equipment list” etc.
Each list is variable length (5, 10, 20, XX items) as determined by user.
Pre-determined sub-groupings assist the user in organizing their list.
e.g. When creating a new “Souffle cooking equipment list” items can be added to various sub-categories such as “Pots and Pans” sub-category, “Cutlery” category, “XYZ” sub-category.I welcome any thoughts as to whether PDB is suitable for this type of use case.
