I’m not sure what do you mean by “nothing has worked for days”. Could you please elaborate more?
Also, please make sure that you updated both PDF Embedder free and Premium versions to the latest versions.
Also, regarding the while area under the documents – it may be related to the height calculation. We used to fix the height by default to 1000px, but now we are trying to calculate it dynamically based on the current PDF page height. You can set the height value for your PDF Embedder block or shortcode to 1000 again, and it will revert to the same behavior.

Since I installed PDF Embedder Premium (Plus) – Version 5.3.0, the start page is displayed as if in an I-frame window instead of the PDF document. This error is evident on all tested installations.
Both plugins are on the latest version. (PDF Embedder Version 4.9.0)
The error is not yet present in PDF Embedder 4.8.2 and PDF Embedder Premium 5.2.3.
By the white area I mean the height setting. This works perfectly in the free version. Unfortunately, in the premium version there is a large white area underneath the document. In the last version that still worked. I can’t test the 1000 pixels at the moment because the plugin doesn’t work.
I previously used PDF Embedder Premium 4.4.1 and the height setting was perfect. (Version from 2020)

Is there really no solution for the non-working premium plugin?
Version 5.3.0 displays the start screen of the homepage in a I-frame instead of the PDF-document. Tested using a shortcode and Gutenberg block.
The error has existed for months now.
