    Hello, the original pdf I’ve uploaded has a good resolution, but in the dFlip book text definition is very poor.

    Hi,

    Your PDF is scanned so the text are not rendered properly. Also you can try increasing the Page Render size to 2048, currently 1600px

    2048 is the max you have with lite version. In Full you can go up to 3200px . Your can try with your PDF at https://dearflip.com/pdf-viewer/

    But higher resolution is not the main issue here. It’s the scanned image that was further processed with lossy compression before adding to PDF. Web rendering for scanned images in PDF is not as good as desktop rendering. The PDF.js version we use 3.11 cannot perform better than this.

    We do not think we can improve on this as of now and suggest you to try some other plugins.

    Thank you! I didn’t realise textual contents are actually scanned images.
    I will ask for a new PDF version to include.
