    Hi Jacob,

I think there may be a slight flaw in the way WPPA+ handles the Import of PDF files and the associated image files for the thumbnail. In general, the process seems to work well. If you attempt to change the thumbnail (of a previously uploaded pair) by uploading a new image file to the Depot and then importing it, the new file does not seem to over write the old image file. The Import indicates success and the file is removed from the Depot. This appears to be the case for Importing from the Depot.

This is not the case when you use the Upload function. You can Upload a new image file directly using the built in menus and the image file is updated. Everything seems to work fine using this method.

    Maybe I am missing something.

    Thanks!

I van not reproduce this on my test site.
The only thing i noticed that the thumbnails version number is not updated, so, if you do not clear the browsers cache, the old image may be displayed. This is the reason that there is a version number e.g.:
    https://betatest.opajaap.nl/wp-content/uploads/wppa/thumbs/281.png?ver=27

But, the files are correctly updated. Pls try CTRL+F5 to clear the browsercache to reload the page.

I and still having much the same problem. I have used 3 different browsers with the same result even after clearing the browser caches. This is only a problem Importing as Uploading works just fine.

Just now I put a document/photo pair in my personal depot using FTP. I then used the Import Photos menu item. Both files were imported and the PDF displays properly. I then put a different photo (only) with the same name in the depot and attempted to Import it. The Import fails now and the file is left in the depot. However, if I use the Upload Photos menu item, it works and the new thumbnail is used.

Now for no apparent reason, since the new photo was still in the depot, I tried to Import it. It worked!. However, the thumbnail does not update even though the photo Imported.

Got it! You need Save source enabled when using pdfs; a recommendation anyway, because the pdfs themselves are saved in the source folders.

See Table IX-H1 and IX-H2. If you tick these, the import of a poster image after a pdf will no longer fail.

    Perfect! It works brilliantly.

    Thanks!

However, i will fix it in 7.1.03, for consistency. Just a switch that the poster image is saved in the sourcefolder even when saving sources is off.
