Hi Brian,
Shield, or any other plugin like this, wont work “out-of-the-box” with plugins like PeePso because, as you say, it uses it’s own login/profile pages so Shield would have to be custom coded to “hook” into the PeePso system – assuming that system even allows for such a thing.
I’m surprised you weren’t prompted for the 2FA screen when logging in using the peepso forms… were you logging-in as an account that has 2FA configured on the account?
I discovered a bit more since I posted. I am not sure if I had a conflict but I cleared some database remnants from another security plugin. When accessing the PeepSo login I am now presented with the Shield Security login screen. The authenticator works and then the site redirects to the standard PeepSo page after entering the OTP. I believe the OTP to email seems to work also. I believe the issue which I face now is that the barcode which must be scanned is in the WP user admin panel which is not used by the site users.
If the barcode were accessible another way this might work.
Thanks! Brian

Glad to hear the 2FA is working as expected. I got a hold of their code and I couldn’t understand why you weren’t being redirected to Shield’s 2FA screen after login.
As to user profiles, providing WP Shortcodes so that admins can easily embed Shield profile elements is definitely part of our roadmap, and we’ll address it sooner rather than later.
It’s just not available yet, and given the nature of it, it’s likely going to be ShieldPRO-only kind of feature. We have a number of customers looking for this kind of extension and we’ll be reaching out to our clients for feedback once we start down that track.
Thank you for expressing your interest in this – it helps us learn what ways Shield can be improved and the gaps we need to fill.
Thanks Paul, seems great. A Shortcode(s) would seem to bridge the gap. I will definitely go pro. Seems protecting the main WP and user logins best possible goes a long way to preventing a disaster from the non-stop intrusion attempts going on now.
Thanks for the support.

Hi Paul, in the Pro version is enabling/disabling 2FA an option for users? I will always want for Admin but I think users should have flexibility?? Thanks, Brian
