People Profile Plugin

I have build a website where I have an Artists profile page where thumbnails of various music artists and their name will be listed in a 3X3 grid. Then, when each thumbnail is clicked, the info of each artist along with some audio files will be displayed for playback. Is there a plugin that will allow me to create such a list?
I’ve looked at Peoples List plugin but that;s only for displaying user info without linking further inside the user profile.
