Something I never understood is sometimes when someone creates an amazing almost perfect plugin, they make sure to not add the one thing that’ll make it better and more chosen than every other plugin that exists.

How does this not have a per minute/per hour sending limiter? And on top of that the minimum to send per hour is 14400 emails per hour since minimum is 4 per second.

Is there any way at all you guys can give some type of functions.php code that change the per second to a per minute thing, even if it’s paid, even if it’s apart of the premium. I was so happy when this plugin had literally everything I wanted, well organized, clean, all other features I was looking for in all the other plugins, and then one of the most important things is just missing.

I’ve looked everywhere about FluentCRM and no way to do this, there has to be some type of code, some bypass, some way to do this, it’s the one essential thing every single other newsletter plugin I’ve ever come across made sure to have

    Hi @sevenkader,

Thanks for reaching our and hope you are doing great today! Unfortunately, it’s not possible to change FluentCRM’s sending rate from per-second to per-minute or per-hour through functions.php code or any other method. The plugin’s email throttling system is designed specifically around per-second intervals and cannot be modified to work with longer time periods.

However, I’d recommend checking your SMTP server’s throttling settings instead. Most email service providers (like SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES, etc.) offer their own rate-limiting controls where you can set per-minute or per-hour limits. You can:

    1. Set FluentCRM to a lower per-second rate (like 4 emails/second)
    2. Configure your SMTP provider to handle the broader hourly/daily limits you need

This approach gives you the granular control you’re looking for while working within FluentCRM’s current capabilities.

Hope this helps clarify the situation!

    Best regards,
    – FluentCRM Team

I’ve been utilizing the pause button every 1200 and pausing it per hour myself. I thought a simple functions.php code that uses that pause button could be written that pauses it at 1200, and a cron job that picks it back up an hour later could be added. May you tell me the file destination of the code where the pause button mechanism is located, I’ll try to put something together myself.
