Permalink: customizable url?

Here is my site:
http://www.v*rsionitradott*.it (* = e)

As you can see there is Categories menu that i renamed as “Versioni”.

My site using Permalinks and i set
/versioni/%postname%/
and the urls become like this:
/versioni/category/postname/

Then i tried to set this as permalink:
/%category%/%postname%/
but i get urls like this:
/category/postname/

I would like to get urls like this:
/versioni/postname

is it possible?
