  • I am not seeing any error other than a 404. If this what You are seeing too? If you, ensure that your post is published as well as any cache is reset. In some cases there can be a hiccup due to plugin or theme code and you may need to try to reset the permalinks.

You reset the permalinks by simply going to Setting -> Permalinks and clicking Update or Save. You do no have to change a setting. This will flush the permalinks structure and recreate it.

Hi, I also have this problem. The same error 404, but the thing I can’t access the site already, so it is hard to flush the permalinks and recreate it. Also, for the ftp server, I don’t know how to set up and link to my website. (Do I need to do that?) Sorry I’m just a newbie here! 🙂 So may I ask that any ftp server can access my site??

    My site is http://qwerty.com/wordpress/wp-admin

If anyone’s ftp server did able to access my website folders, then can they just help me delete the folders and files?? Thanks 🙂

    Hi @samongoc,

We are all volunteers here and not a formal company that provides tech support. It is against guidelines of the forum to ask for FTP credentials or any other login information and I am going to say that it is also against guidelines to try to find someone as well.

From what it sounds like, you have a completely different problem and need to contact your hosting company for assistance.
