permalink forbids index/303

    Couldnt find answer to this issue exactly
    I created a .htaccess file in WP dir. (chmod 666).
Updated permalink structure (used default options)
It automatically saved to htaccess.
    Now when I try to get index page it says
    303 Forbidden, you dont have access to this page.
(I temporarily renamed htaccess to be able view page)
    Please advise, I am newbie.
