Permalink issue

Hi Everybody,

I’m fairly new to this so please forgive if this is elementary stuff.

I’m attempting to change the Permalinks for a site. I have adjusted the permalink setting to custom /%postname%

This has not adjusted, however, as the original setting was not the default setting.

Hence, I downloaded a Redirection plugin and have manually redirected each page via this plugin.

The problem, however, is that it seems that there is a new url generated for each page with a very ugly ID number that looks like this.

http://www.zephertours.com.au/7-day-sydney-to-byron-bay-special#.UGUJ2U12aHw

So, the redirection works for this URL but not for the next time this page is accessed as a different number is generated.

I hope this makes sense.

I haven’t tampered with the .htaccess yet as I’m not sure what the original setting was and it seems you need this to generate the redirect code.

Can anyone help?
