    Hey guys,

I recently upgraded the Deadline Responsive theme on http://www.take5.ca.

The shop’s slug is set to ‘/shop/’ but when I click on a product, the permalink changes to ‘/news/product’ and I get an unknown page error.

Could you take a look? It’s under maintenance right now – I could give you Dashboard access.

    Thank you so much.

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all other plugins deactivated?

    Hey Esmi,

Yes, when I deactivate other plugins and switch to the 2014 theme, the /news/ slug is still added for a product.

Sorry but it is not eShop doing that. Can we see the site using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all other plugins deactivated and using the default permalink structure?

    Hi Esmi,

I could but then I’d have to release the maintenance mode. Can I send you temporary Admin access?

Which email address should I use?

    Thanks.

I’m sorry but we do cannot offer free one-to-one support.

    Yes, I understand. No problem.

I changed permalinks to default and I have the same issue.

I have released maintenance mode so you can see:

Let me know and thank you.

    Hey Esmi,

You can but… I need to know that you are right there because the client will not like me switching themes.

I’ll keep checking in with you to establish that time. Thanks.

We support this free plugin in our spare time, so we cannot guarantee when we will be available to check the site. sorry. 🙁

    Hey Esmi,

Yep, I get it. Thanks for taking the time.

Let me check with the client as to whether they want to keep using eShop before I ask you to help me further.

    Thanks again.
