• Hello,

I’m new to WordPress and having troubles setting my permalink. Please check [ redundant link removed ] (website I’m trying to create).

I created a few buttons at the top of the website where you are supposed to navigate through some sections of the website. However, every time I click on one of the buttons the URL gets messy (duplicated) and as a consequence the target site is unable to open.

    For example:

If I go to the site and click on the button ABOUT, I was supposed to be redirected too /about. However, what is happening is: I’m being redirected to the wrong url.

Any idea why that might be happening and how to fix?

Sorry if it’s a simple question but I’m really new at this.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • It looks like that item needs to be a relative link but since you included the full URL the system is adding the domain on to it then it is being rewritten to the https version of your domain also.

Here’s a codex article about using WordPress’ built-in menu system.

You might need to follow up with your theme author, the menu plugin you are using’s support system or the Elementor editor plugin you are trying to use to create these links with.
