• Hello,
I have a problem with permalinks in my website martha-care.com

I have polylang and woocommerce both installed and I would like to make a multilingual store.

    In permalinks settings I have:
    – Common settings -> Post name
    – Product permalink base -> Shop base with category

    In Settings-> Languages -> Settings I have:
    – “The language is set from content” (Posts, pages, categories and tags urls are not modified.)

In order to make the multilingual possible I read that I have to switch this last option to:
    – “The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks” (Example: http://martha-care.com/en/my-post/)

The problem is that, if I make this switch that I have just mentioned, I get a 404 page not found error for every single product page.
Other things, included the general store, do not show any problem instead.

I surfed the internet but I have not find anything yet.

Do you have any idea of how I can fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,
    Alessandro

  • I am having the same issue. Not sure what the cause is.

As per my diagnosis until now, I see that there should be some issue with the server’s configuration you’re using.
Most of the online resources I’ve seen point to only one problem i.e., with the mod_rewrite on Apache library.

Check if the mod_rewrite function is being loaded/included in your Apache conf file and include it if is not.

Let me know if this solves the problem.

    hey friends!!! 😉
    did you solve this problems?
    please answer me
