Posts aren’t Updating,Just Permalinks are changing

I have updated the permalink of a two or three posts,Instead of redirecting the old permalink to the new permalink a new post is created instead but the new post is invisible.

when i look into the homepage and see the date on “Recent posts” in right sidebar it shows the old date which means the post isn’t getting updated – (http://prntscr.com/f97e98)

But when i go to dashboard>All posts and view that specific posts it’s showing updated.(see the image) – (http://prntscr.com/f97hir)

When i open the two permalinks old permalink in one tab and new permalink in another tab,it’s showing the same content on both the tabs.

I’m Running the Latest Version of WordPress.

Please point me some guides to fix this issue
