Permalinks- nothing but problems! Uninstall question

    I have had so many issues with permalinks. It’s caused nothing but problems on my 400+ page site. It keeps redirecting to the wrong page. (no it is not an issue with the htaccess file) I have been renaming the page and that works fine but I can’t keep renaming these pages- especially on a site this large. So finally I decided I just want to uninstall it.

    My page is structured with Parent pages that are links to all the child pages underneath it, so will this mess up the site by uninstalling permalinks?

    The link between a parent page and its child pages is a field in the posts database table called parent, which hold the post ID of its parent page. So no, the relationship between parent and child pages is not changed depending on whether permalinks are off or on.
