  • Does your permalink structure have a trailing slash at the end of %day% ?

    Here is my permalink structure:

    /archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

It seems to be a problem with the archives page itself. When I clicked on your archives link I didn’t get any posts. Are you using archives.php or index.php for your archives page?

    Thread Starter cypherhackz

    (@cypherhackz)

    I use index.php

Btw I also get 403 on this file:

    http:www.cypherhackz.net/xmlrpc.php

This file is needed to recieve trackback. But this file is forbidden so I can’t recieve any trackback…

I have CHMOD it to 777 but still get 403

Did you upgrade to 2.0.3? Perhaps something went wrong during the FTP.

I have upgrade it. You can check my site’s source code.

It just seems like the whole install isn’t working correctly. Was this problem present before the upgrade? I had to upgrade twice because my FTP program lost its connection half-way through the upload, and some packets got lost or misplaced.

I’m not sure because this is my first time trying to visit my site by date link

    anyone?

I hate to say “reinstall,” but that’s sounding like the answer more and more. When you FTP’d did your connection fail at any time, or did you get upload failures?

If my host told me they were blocking my xmlrpc.php without an explanation (other then to change the name of the file) I’d be looking for a new host.

@jonlandrum: I have re-upload all the files but still get the same error page. But do you mean I re-install all the databases? From zero the upload back the old database?

@yosemite: I don’t think I will change to a new host because I just registered on Nov 2005.

Yeah, I’m with you cypher. I don’t think your host is “blocking” anything. Something’s not connecting, though. My host has had some SQL problems lately, but it’s not their fault. I’m on a shared server, and some of my neighbors have been less-than-neighborly as of late. I’m told they will be moved to another neighborhood shortly.

I hope there will not have any problems when I transfering all the database.

Ok. I have try by changing the database but still not work. I think that is because of my hosting. Or myabe .htaccess problem.
