Update: Host team says
1. the issue is that your folder need permission 755 and ownership to application user, but default the reset permission set it to 775
2. well the default permission should be 775 but your plugin need 755 so its the plugin issue as all the permission should be set to 775 in all CMS
3. Me – Oh…
but plugin need write permission, we change it from SSH. Then why it comes again?? Isn’t an issue with your backend?
Host: Gulshan it again set back to default that it why it causes the issue
while 775 permission is also writable but this particular need 755
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi Gulshan,
normally my plugin will use the standard-avatar which is set in the discussion settings. If it is set from another plugin or manually or by WordPress should be the same result with the HTTP requests. This avatar will be cached only once and is only served once, even on pages/posts with several comments.
Hm ok, the 775 is not really need but if your hoster set this recommended i will change this in the next update and so the plugin will work for you.
I will inform you here when i release it.
Best regards,
Harry
Thank you so much for the kind response. I’ll wait for the next update.
Hi Gulshan,
please update to version 1.6.0
You should be able to correct the permission of the cachefolder to 0775 in the settings-page of the plugin.
Please report here if it works.
Have a nice weekend:)
Best regards,
Harry
