• After upgrading to 3.1.2 I started to get reports from my writers that things had gone terribly wrong. For one, when they try to insert an image, rather than having the nice in screen popup it directs them to that on a different page. They also aren’t able to add tags. On the admin login works fine. Authors/Editors… no dice! Please help

Make an author/editor account for yourself to test with if you have not already.

Then turn off all your plugins (yes, all, yes, it sucks) and try to upload an image. If it works, start turning them on one at a time till it stops.

Yeah I’ve done that… I’ve been testing chmod… I did everything to 777 and it was working again (they can upload images, its just not displaying properly)

Why do you think it’s a chmod thing? What’s the exact error?
