I have a problem with sending notifications regarding new post.
When the new post is published by some user with certain user role/permissions (admin, editor), the notification is being send and can be seen in email log.
But if new post is published by standard user, no notification and nothing in email log.
So I figured there is some permission which is allowing to send notifications?
When you say ‘standard user’, what user role are they assigned to? Do they have different permissions in some way, i.e. have the permissions for that user role been edited?
Yes, actually this user role is some our customized role… I am not able o figure out what permission isn’t “checked” that allows sending notifications / emails… 🙁
There isn’t a BNFW specific capability for allowing access to Notifications. Currently it just checks to see if the user is in the Administrator user role and allows them to view / edit notifications.
Better capabilities are coming in BNFW though.
Thanks,
Jack
