Persistent Audio Player

    Hi WordPress Community,

    I have been struggling with this one for a couple years now and hope that someone may be able to shed some light.

    I would like to set up a global audio player on my site that floats at the bottom of the wordpress website. I would like to set up a persistent audio player that syncs up to soundcloud, youtube, bandcamp or wherever my hosted audio is from. When a user navigates away from a single page, audio playback is not disrupted.

    This is seen across the web on music sites like:

    http://22tracks.com/
    http://www.delicieuse-musique.com/
    http://www.indieshuffle.com
    http://nesthq.com
    http://www.kcrw.com/music

    From what i understand this take jQuery, AJAX and html5 coding. Is there plugin (or group of plugins) I can use to make this possible?
