Personalisation options

Hi
I am a newbie to both woocommerce and wordpress and am building my own site. Some of my products are personalised and I can’t work out how to add a personalisation box on the product. For example I sell wine glasses which can have the customers name or message engraved on them. Am I missing something or is there a plug-in that I need to down load?
